01. What technologies do we support?
Vector believes the use of the latest technology to be one of the core advantages of our business. We utilize the latest versions of CATIA V5, Creo, Mastercam and Verisurf for tooling design and production. Our designers also have access to previous versions of software, for use as our customers require.
02. What do I need to get my project started?
We generally require a statement of work or product description, along with any drawings or 3D models you may have. Please supply 3D models in one of the following formats: CATIA V5 or V4, ProEngineer/Creo, STEP, IGES, or parasolid.
03. How do I send data to Vector?
To ensure DPD compliance, as well as for protection of your confidential data, we rely on the use of our own or our customer’s secure FTP sites for data exchange. To be setup on our secure FTP, please send request to Quotes@vec-tec.com
04. What industries do we support?
Although aerospace and plastic tools make up the majority of our business, we also support multiple heavy metal industries such as automotive, heavy equipment, oil & gas and green energy sectors.
05. What are your CNC machine size capabilities?
Our largest 5 axis machine has travels of 206 x 112 x 60. We use various design techniques and other industry partners to expand our capabilities beyond these limits. To get an inside look at our machining and equipment capabilities please click here.

07. What Quality Assurance capabilities does Vector have in place?
Vector Tooling Technologies is AS9100D and ISO 9001: 2015 certified, and MAA1-10009-1 (DPD) approved. Our Quality Assurance team works hard to ensure our procedures and inspection reports meet all of our customer’s requirements. Our certifications can be found by clicking on the standard name above.

09. What type of status updates can I expect on my projects?
Program and project management is a very intricate part of our business; we treat it with the same significance as our customers do. Our design and manufacturing facility is visually managed. Each tool in the shop has a responsible owner, which drives accountability for being On-Time, On-Cost & On-Quality. To best serve our customers we will work with individual customers to find the most efficient method for communicating status updates.
10. Can we tour your facility?
Customers and suppliers are welcome to schedule a tour of our facilities. Due to the military and government work, we must comply with ITAR, so some visitor restrictions do apply.
