SERVICES
Vec-Tec offers a complete range of tool manufacturing and design to customers in the plastics and aerospace industries.
Design
Our design team utilizes Catia V5 (5 seats) and Pro-E Creo (1 seat) software packages, of multiple releases, to ensure compatibility with our customer’s requirements. Vector’s capabilities range from initial concepts to complete 3D models with model based definition (MBD), as well as full geometric tolerances on 2D drawings to specific customer or tier 1 design formats and standards including 3d PDF, unigraphics, NX, UG, solid works, Enovia and more.
Machining
Vector offers a wide variety of manufacturing capabilities, including 3 and 5-axis milling, grinding, boring, and turning to produce complex geometries. We have the experience to machine both traditional and exotic materials with the use of manual and CNC equipment. Learn more about our Lights Out Manufacturing at Vector.
Advanced Tool Assembly
Vector’s highly skilled craftsmen and tool-makers precisely fit each component they assemble. This ensures that the final tool, regardless of complexity, is at or above the quality our customers expect.
Welding & Fabrication
Vector’s fabrication department is fully capable of supporting all types of our machined tool construction, as well as scaffolding, portable moving equipment, assembly line tooling, weld fixtures, and any other needs a customer may have.
Production
Vector offers our customers low volume production part machining work often associated with first article and/or experimental components.
Program Management
Vector offers a comprehensive analysis of your program which enables us to select the program management processes that will fit your project’s scope and needs the best. This approach allows each program to be sized up accordingly, while maximizing producibility and eliminating waste from the process. This ensures your programs are On-Time, On-Cost & On-Quality.
Advanced Workstations
Vector has watercam & Enovia at every workstation to aide in manufacturing from MBD (model based definition) and GD&T.
